Ebay uses it to supply 30% of their headquarters energy and Google has been using it to completely power a computer center for over 18 months. Why is this energy source so revolutionary?

Bloom’s Energy Server is, “a new class of distributed power generator, producing clean, reliable, affordable electricity.” The cells use low cost materials, have high electrical efficiency, can use renewable or fossil fuels and can store or generate power. The website says, “Each Bloom Energy Server provides 100kW of power, enough to meet the baseload needs of 100 average homes or a small office building.” The possibilities of this new energy fuel cell are endless and will change the world as we know it.
