Facebook becomes most popular U.S. Web site

I just saw from SmartBrief that “Facebook overtook Google as the U.S.’s most popular Web site last week, according to a report by Hitwise. Checking Facebook accounted for more than 7% of all Web visits, the report found. A recent swath of surveys further underscores the platform’s importance for social marketers. Studies show that the average American spends 7 hours a month on the site and that 44% of all social sharing takes place on the platform.”

This is totally amazing!

Your New Browser Start Page?

Take a look at this, it’s kind of a cool concept. T-Mobile had the ad campaign of the Fav5; the concept of setting up speed dial for 5 people you call frequently and then your minute charges are waved. Now a website offers you a similar concept by letting you pick four of favorite websites from a list for easy access.

How to use this site:
1. Pick your favorite four websites from a list
2. Set this site as your browser’s start page
3. Enjoy using Fav4!
