Stop phone calls from telemarketers
The National Do Not Call Registry gives you a chance to stop receiving unwarranted phone calls from telemarketers for 5 years. You can register your landline (home phone) or cell phone number by going to the FTC website or calling 1-888-382-1222. You may register up to three telephone numbers at one time on the web site. If you have received an email claiming there is a December 31st deadline for adding cell phone numbers, this is not true. There is no deadline whatsoever.
