Four Christmases Review

If you want to see a movie that delivers above all things that “family is first”, then see Four Christmases. If you want to see a movie that is perfect for the entire family, then don’t see Four Christmases. This formulaic holiday comedy starring Vince Vaughan and Reese Witherspoon delivers a slap stick, warmhearted story, but comes up short.

I laughed almost the entire movie, but it seemed like I laughed at the same jokes from other holiday classics. **Spoiler alert** Vaughan and Witherspoon’s characters, due to bad weather, must suspend their vacation plans and visit each set of embarrassing families on Christmas. Along the way, there are many baby spit-ups, Three Stooges head bumps and Three’s Company jokes.

The movie is rated PG13 for sexual humor and language. If you are looking for something senseless around the holidays then check out Four Christmases, if not wait until DVD.
