Bookmark Apps in App Store?

Dear Apple,
Please add the availability to bookmark apps in the app store. When surfing through the app store you can send yourself the link but you can’t bookmark it. The ability to create a wishlist of apps you’d like to purchase would be helpful. I would imagine it would also increase sales.
Thank you,
Marc

Find A Grave

Where is your loved one buried? Where is your favorite celebrity’s monument? Recently I was searching for funeral information and I stumbled upon a website that keeps track of where graves are located. Yes, I realize Find A Grave is quite morbid, however the site serves as a useful tool and way to pay tribute. For example, here is Steve Jobs burial location.

Apple Movie Trailers

In the past, I typically browsed IMDB for movie trailers to get a glimpse what is on the horizon. I am now hooked on Apple’s movie trailers page. The page is constantly updated and works really well on mobile. Apple recently broke down the fall movie guide.

iPad Cases for Kids

Did you recently buy an iPad for your kid? If so, you need a good case to protect it! Griffin recently launched a series of iPad cases just for kids. One special case is called the “Lightboard” and it allows your kid to draw and color directly on your iPad. You just slide in a piece of paper to start your kids drawing.

The site says, “It is a protective case and art table in one. Your iPad is surrounded in a shatter-resistant polycarbonate shell with openings for the speakers and headphone jack. A built-in polycarbonate screen shield protects your Multi-Touch display against scratches and impacts from even the most ardent artists.”

You can also download their LightBoard Trace app currently for free at the App Store. With the app you have more than 35 different things to draw and has a game that teaches kids how to write their name. When you use the LightBoard case, you can feel safe about letting your child play with your iPad. Thanks to Mike Kimmel for the tip on this one!

iPod Nano Worth It?

I have recently heard that the iPod Nano has been stumbling out of the gate. The marketing of the recent edition of the iPod has a sleek, wicked design and technological fire power to boot. The unit is thin, paper light, and capable of holding up to 2 gigs of music, photos and more. However, the rumors have been flying around the Internet that this little piece of technology isn’t worth your money until Apple works out a few kinks with the next edition.

Some owners are saying that the screen is too easily scratched while others say their screens cracked or failed unexplicably. Others are also saying that they actual unit also scratches too easily, however I have read here is an easy solution to make your iPod Nano look brand new.

According to a MacWorld article, “These are minor issues involving a vendor quality problem in a small number of units,” Schiller told MacCentral. “In fact, this issue has affected less than 1/10 of 1 percent of the total iPod nano units that we’ve shipped. It is not a design issue.” Apple said that the screens on the iPod nano are made with the same material that is found in the company’s fourth-generation iPod, which, to date, is complaint free. “If customers are concerned about scratching we suggest they use one of the many iPod nano cases to protect their iPod.”

Schiller said that if customers find they have this problem, all they have to do is contact AppleCare and their iPod will be replaced. I think I am going to wait to buy an iPod Nano.
