Let your kids know:
1. You’ve set rules for their Internet use [Figure out how long and what sites your kids can visit]
2. If they feel uncomfortable on a website, leave and tell you right away
3. Never give out personal information [credit card, password, phone, address, etc.]
4. You need to check out a chat rooms before they enter them.
5. Don’t choose a chat room screen name that has your age or address
6. Never arrange a face-to-face meeting with someone online
7. Don’t answer messages that make you feel uncomfortable, tell a parent right away
8. Don’t except anything a stranger sends you over the Internet. Delete it without opening
9. Never send anything to a stranger over the Internet. [i.e. your picture]
10. Learn and have fun but don’t try anything that hurts other people or is against the law
